Description
This Death's Head Hawkmoth (Acherontia Atropos) has been hand set by our expert entomologists in our studio and elegantly mounted in a museum quality deep box frame. The frame is made from satin-finished acrylic. Each specimen is mounted on a 300 GSM acid-free card stock which includes both the scientific and common name of the insect printed below. The frame can either be self-standing or mounted using the invisible wall hanging bracket. All of our specimens are ethically sourced from conservation projects around the world and help to support local communities and protect natural habitats. The picture shown is an example of the quality that you can expect to receive. Please be aware that, as our products are 100% authentic & natural, they are subject to some variation. These specimens are absolutely stunning and they arrived quickly! A word to the wise (-r than me) ….order more than two items. The shipping was over 60$. Which means, IF I sell the items at full retail I’ll make like 55$. Which is still money made and if they don’t sell that’s ok too bc I love them. But next time I’ll be ordering at least 4 items to make that shipping cost a little less heartbreaking.

Purchased a few items all low quality Geode bookends: Poorly cut, little chips down the centre & a piece approx 2cm long dropped off when unpacking Ammonite: most boring of brown shades, nothing like the specimen in the photo & substantially smaller fit in the frame Pen: amethyst that pale you can barley tell what stone it is Deathhead moth: glue can been seen quite clearly. Velociraptor tooth. Glue central. Only the tip, not full tooth approx 8mm x 7mm in a jar too large for the specimen

We ordered half white frames but got all black. The listings said each frame came with a loyalty sticker, but there was only one in our box of 6. I had already copied the product to our website and had to change all of the descriptions once I opened the box. A couple had a dusting inside where they had been jostled in shipping. Only two had species cards. Still, these are beautiful and I hope they will enthrall our buyers as much as they have us! Very fast shipping. Thanks!
