Without cumin, we’d have no savory dal, tajine or chili. Hundreds of beloved recipes get their distinctive tang, punchy heat, and tawny color from cumin. Made from the thin, tiny seeds of the delicate cumin plant (a relative of dill and caraway), the spice originated in Asia (hence its appearance in the famous Xi’an noodle dishes), but was widely dispersed via the Silk Road, and used as an antibacterial addition to foods. I love this line of spices! They have wonderful seasonal picks, as well as wonderful blends to season most any meal. I appreciate the ability to get rare spices, like black cardamom and a ton of different peppers, as well as unique seasonings (the fried chicken seasoning made my post thanksgiving turkey soup sing) and the delicious Apple Pie Spice. The packaging is beautiful, the ingredients are delicious and fresh...I cannot say enough about this line.

This company has several spices and blends that I have never seen offered before (their chili selection alone is awe inspiring) and they are so fresh and delicious. They have terrific descriptions and recipes to inspire your kitchen adventures as well. I HIGHLY recommend this line!
