Description
The gardens surrounding Tung Ting (aka Dong Ding or Frozen Summit) Mountain in Taiwan produce some of the world’s most sought-after oolongs. This region is famous for baking tea leaves at high temperatures, a process that imparts a sweet, richness by gradually caramelizing the natural sugars in the leaf. This “medium roast” oolong offers toasty notes of Brazil nuts, rustic French-bakery aromas, and a long, pleasant finish.
