The Oncos range was created in 2017 by chance when a friend of the owners (QD Italia srl since 2013) was diagnosed with Hogkin's lymphona and her skin became extremely sensitive due to the treatment she was receiving. She explained that she was now unable to use most of her beauty products as they reacted with her skin increasing irritation. I decided to design a product for her that not only helped in moisturing and nourishing her skin but also calmed the topical irritation. From this the company then proceeded to collaborate with oncology doctors, dermatologists and charities to pinpoint the different skin problems oncology patients face during treatment so as to develop a complete range that is completely safe, non-irritating and aids in keeping the dermis soft and nourished.
