ABOUT SMILE + SPACE smile + space is a children’s line that incorporates art, graffiti, music, streetwear, culture, and fashion. It was created during the COVID-19 pandemic — a challenging time for the world, especially for kids. Between having to do online school, missing out on sports and dance classes and time with their friends and grandparents, we wanted to find a way for kids to find the smiles under the masks by creating a line that captures the hope of a bright future. . We want to encourage kids to express themselves and make their dreams come true — The possibilities of youth are endless. The Brooklyn Kreatures are born out of smile + space and celebrate the ‘kreature’ in us all. ‘Kreatures’ just be whoever they want to be. We want to foster a world that is inclusive to all, free of labels, stereotypes, and traditional gender norms.
