About Pestemalim - Cotton Create

We are Cotton Create | Pestemalim, a third-generation Turkish textile house based in Denizli — a city woven into the history of cotton itself. For over a thousand years, the looms of Denizli have produced some of the finest cotton textiles in the world, and the families here learned the craft long before "Made in Turkey" became a global label. That heritage is the heart of everything we make. Our peshtemal (also known as Turkish towels or hammam towels) are woven on a mix of traditional shuttle looms and modern jacquard machines, allowing us to honor centuries-old patterns while developing fresh, contemporary designs season after season. Today, we work from a 5,000 m² facility with a team of 200 skilled people — most of whom have been with us for years. From cotton selection to final stitch, every step happens under one roof. We are vertically integrated, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, and we source organic cotton, bamboo blends, and natural linen for our most premium lines.Read their story
