The story of my vineyard is very recent; it was in April 2021 that I arrived at the Chinon appellation, in Cravant les Coteaux, by purchasing 5 hectares of old vines, organically farmed for about thirty years. Before that, I was a train conductor for SNCF at Paris Austerlitz, but I am not Parisian. I wanted to return to the land and produce something good and full of values, WINE! After a quick training at the Domaine de la Bouche du Roi in the Yvelines, I seized the opportunity to settle down, took my wife and child (who was 1 month old at the time), and we set off towards our new life. The only criterion I had regarding my installation was to take over vines already certified organic, to be sure to immediately make a clean wine and work in environmentally respectful conditions. The idea was therefore from the start to produce an organic wine, but also natural, without added products during vinification. I work alone, so I do everything by myself, from vineyard work to vinification, including packaging, order preparation, administration, and marketing... So it's a very artisanal small vineyard!
