CASA PRIMIS was founded in 2003 when Gianni Mauriello, 19 years old wine technician, and Nicola Selano, 22 years old winemaker, taking advantage of the generational change in their respective farms, decided to enhance the grapes produced in their vineyards. The two young technicians thus put their studies to good use, which merge with the experience and tradition of their predecessors, who made at least 40 harvests. The old Apulian tents, with high yields per hectare, are replaced by backrest systems, focusing on quality rather than quantity. Nero di Troia, Negroamaro, Primitivo, Bombino Bianco, Greco, Fiano, Vermentino and Chardonnay are implanted. Work and passion remain unchanged from the vineyard to the cellar, where technological equipment is used to produce wines while respecting the Apulian tradition. The company philosophy is to enhance native vines by vinifying them in purity so that each wine has the organoleptic characteristics of the vine from which it is produced. CASA PRIMIS is attentive to environmental sustainability. In addition to being BIO certified, boxes made from recycled cardboard and light bottles are used for packaging.
