About Eljada Van Muijden Arts & Crafts | Small-scale & Unique I am a painter and ceramist and I prefer to be in my studio, it offers me peace and space to shape my ideas. I make drawings, paintings and ceramics including sculptures and utensils such as tableware. What I make is unique. Work in series also shows differences because it is made by hand. The only equipment I use is [sometimes] a potter's wheel and a computer-controlled electric ceramic oven, which guarantees a high degree of continuity in production. Everything is manufactured in our own workshop with pleasure, many years of experience, attention, attention to detail and love for the craft. In my work, I feel free but I am bound by the human dimension. A painting comes to the wall where it coincides with the environment and supports the atmosphere. Prints of small edition paintings and drawings. Crockery is placed in the kitchen or on the table and makes the difference there, it breathes craftsmanship and hospitality, shows that time has been put into it and care has been taken. The food for the guests is served in it, it is taken in hand and put to the mouth. Naturally, the crockery is food safe and dishwasher safe.
