CITIZEN NOLA is a New Orleans based graphic apparel company begun on an impulse to represent the emotions felt by rebuilding New Orleanians post-Katrina. As the city progressed, the line evolved into one with more universal themes. Owner and designer is New Orleans native Liz Lennox. Liz uses her extensive knowledge of shoppers’ buying habits (acquired over 20+ years in retail) and pairs it with an obsessive study of pop culture to create timely graphics on fashion forward garments. The popularity of CITIZEN NOLA graphic tees is exemplified by their mentions in Sports Illustrated and USA Today, as well as, their “appearance” on The Today Show. In June 2016, Hoda Kotb selected two CITIZEN NOLA designs to feature on her weekly Favorite Things segment. Designed and printed in New Orleans since 2007, CITIZEN NOLA graphic tees are sold at fine retailers throughout Louisiana.
