In 1843, in the heart of Poitou, in the commune of Montmorillon, was born the “Brasserie de Montmorillon”. Building on their success, Montmorillon beers were then distributed to the finest amateurs and connoisseurs, until becoming at the time, the most sold beer in the whole of France. After some historical misadventures, the brewery closed its doors in 1963... Until 2015! François Guillon is reborn from the ashes the pride of his native terroir: the Brasserie de Montmorillon! An ambition that allows it to give back to the inhabitants of this municipality their beer by producing quality products, organic & made in France, locally. They will accompany all the moments of life and conviviality of all lovers of beer and good living!
