Cinnamon Quills is a NZ apothecary style bespoke business handcrafting beautiful natural body bars, hand poured artisan vegan pure coconut wax and locally sourced beeswax candles, luxurious hand & body creams, detoxifying activated charcoal detox face bars, moisturising lip balms, exfoliating scrubs, nourishing shampoo bars & conditioners, hair serums, natural deodorants & sunblocks, shaving bars & beard oil and comforting soothing balms. Several years ago following a beloved family member's loss to cancer, we saw a need to go back to using natural and chemical free body and skincare products that were not only sustainably sourced but fair trade as well - Cinnamon Quills was created from this need. We now try to account for not only the quality and purely natural ingredients (picked directly with only the minimum amount of processing to use the ingredient) but also to see how the ingredient was harvested and brought to market - ensuring fair trade. Using remedies, botanicals, herbs that our ancestors used added to modern day formulations, we create mostly organic natural body and skincare products in small batches all handmade using the best quality oils, butters and ingredients that we can source. A wonderful example is our Baraka Organic and Fair Trade Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter - we use these 2 amazing butters in almost all of our formulations and our support impacts directly on the communities in Ghana by ensuring the women can support themselves.
