I’m Perla, an Emmy® award-winning journalist and founder of Perla López Baray, LLC, a lifestyle brand that specializes in handmade non-toxic, eco-friendly, sustainable home fragrance products and perfumes. My journey began in 2009 when I developed my signature perfume inspired by my mom who had sensitive skin. Soon after, she was diagnosed with scleroderma and passed away in 2021. In honor of her memory, I expanded my collection of Handcrafted All Natural Premium Soy Candles and scents supporting the needs of those with autoimmune diseases, while offering alternatives for conscious consumers. Pursuing my passion, I teamed up with my husband, Ian Holmes, a Latin Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter and former American Idol contestant, to launch our Signature Love Collection of Candles and Songs in 2023. The collection is inspired by his original love songs, resulting in scents that are memorable and profound. Since then, we've expanded our services to include customized wedding favors, wholesale, private label and more.
