All of the items combine our passion for slow craft and the sustainable sourcing of materials. Every quilt, placemat and zokin are sewn by hand with needle and thread, ensuring the highest level of attention to every detail, all the while allowing the wabi-sabi nature of handwork to remain. The aesthetic is contemporary within a traditional craft; sashiko stitching to quilt the layers together and complete the abstract patterning. All of the fabric used in the top are vintage Japanese textiles. The backing is organic muslin and the batt is cotton. Whether to use for a nap or bed topper, wall hanging or baby blanket, each item is a one of a kind textile art piece for the home.
