CB Sports was a beloved and influential ski industry brand for over three decades during some of the most defining years for outdoor sports and American ski culture. During this vibrant and successful era, CB’s stylish outdoor clothing developed legions of devoted fans. In 1969, legendary ski racer and former speed skiing world record holder Charles Bird (CB) Vaughan, Jr., launched his eponymous brand with a single item, the “Super Pant,” which he sold out of the back of his car. CB’s dream of sleek and functional skiwear for athletes hit a market need - the original style and function combo. Over the next thirty years, the brand grew by leaps and bounds, developing distinct, classic pieces and an in-demand CB ‘look’ that was soon a fixture on ski slopes all over the world. The crew here at Vertical Brands is thrilled to have the opportunity to once again enrich lives with stripes, zips, pullovers, popping colors and CB's easy, confidence-imbuing style. Many of the most recognizable and beloved CB styles will be back in production in the coming seasons, as well as heritage-design inspired renditions with a more modern sensibility and updated performance textiles.
