Hi there! We’re Paul and Shaun and we are the people behind Spiffy! 
 We both struggled with mental health problems in the past, in the form of anxiety and depression, and have been left a bit high and dry when it came to support. We experienced it at a time when mental health wasn't really spoken about as openly as it is now so we had to almost fend for ourselves. Shaun had trained as a Primary School Teacher and saw first-hand the pressure kids are under these days, and he himself experienced the overwhelming stress of the teaching profession. Meanwhile Paul spent a number of years struggling with anxiety. After having counselling himself, he trained as a life coach and counsellor, and really enjoyed connecting with people and supporting them to make positive change in their lives. We opened in Sept 2017, a little bit confused, a little bit nervous, but we just knew we wanted to help people live a better life and offer something that we would have valued when we were struggling. We've learnt a lot, changed a lot and grown a lot, and your support and encouragement has been invaluable. We believe happiness is achievable and that everybody deserves happiness. No matter whether you make a big change or a small one, a happier life is always within reach. Everything we offer has been specifically designed and created because we believe it can help people live a happier life. We want to share our products far and wide to make mental health more accessible and "normalised".Read their story
