Backstock Co began in 2018 as an artists study into what makes a person cherish a graphic t-shirt. Content, color and composition are explored to create a uniquely made item under one roof. Entirely self taught & sustained in a garage Backstock Co began to screen print desirable shirt topics using 80's & 90's printing technique. Guided by a love for graphic design, hands on art & screen printing we aim to produce great graphic tees at great prices. Keeping our shirts cherished and collected for decades to come until it is the next 'vintage grail'. Our Process: -First we create a design -Then we prep the art to screenprint -Next we prepare materials to make 'screens' -We make 4-6 color designs where colors play together to make other colors. -We prep our plastisol inks and add in softners to make it nice & soft after a few washes. -Our 2 man team then prints a batch of shirts. -Since 2018 our designs are only printed once, and not reprinted. This has fostered a dedicated collector base to form around collecting our tees. We are currently on Tee #85. Inquire about our designs printed on 2nd hand & vintage blanks. It's some of my favorite work & each piece becomes very unique one of ones.
