For over 63 years, NOH Foods of Hawaii has been creating authentic, easy-to-prepare Asian and Pacific Rim cuisine. As a family-owned company from Hawaii, our products bring comforting, island-inspired flavors to everyday meals. Our story began in 1963 when my parents, Edwin and Miriam Noh, opened Arirang, Honolulu’s first Korean restaurant. To simplify the labor-intensive process of making kim chee, my father created a dehydrated, ready-to-use mix...just add it to cabbage, and it’s ready. That innovation became our first product and the foundation of NOH Foods. We soon expanded into sauces and seasonings inspired by Hawaii’s diverse cultures, including Japanese Teriyaki, Chinese Char Siu, Filipino Adobo, Portuguese Vinha D’alhos, and Hawaiian Haupia. Today, NOH Foods products are enjoyed across the United States and around the world. We remain committed to providing simple, delicious products made with high-quality ingredients, always with no added preservatives and MSG.
