I am an Emergency Medicine physician by trade, but have always had an artsy side as well as love for antiques. SHAPEAU came to fruition during COVID when I used sewing as a creative outlet mixed with my love and appreciation for antique textiles. My mother and I have gone antiquing our whole lives and have accrued quite the collection of quilts and linens. SHAPEAU uses vintage textiles including hand-sewn/embroidered quilts, linens, handkerchiefs, and even towels to create wearable art. Each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind including our labels which are embroidered on antique linens as well. My pieces are currently in boutiques found in Florida, Texas, Maine, New York, and even Canada!
