Yellowcake Shop was founded in Cleveland by project Runway Alumna Valerie Mayén. From both necessity and unquenchable creativity, Valerie launched her line of sustainable, handmade garments in 2009. The Yellowcake Shop line of tailored, handcrafted garments for women is 100% produced in the USA. Yellowcake prides itself on creating well-made, unique pieces for the modern woman while supporting its local community. Yellowcake Shop has quickly cultivated a fan following at handmade product shows all over the U.S.! Chocolate and vanilla cake seem to get all the attention, but we all know that a made-from-scratch yellow cake is everyone’s favorite treat. Yellowcake Shop's garments stand out from the ordinary in the same way! Yellowcake clients are loyalists, they return to the brand again and again for its practicality and modern design. Each of our tops, dresses, cardigans and coats has at least two pockets!
