About Buffalo Gals by White Rabbit Design
BUFFALO GALS. GENUINE. JUST LIKE OUR CITY. Graphic designer Katharine Smith is the owner of White Rabbit Design. In April 2015, inspired by Buffalo’s resurgence, she created “Buffalo Gals” – designing unique note cards and prints. Since then she has designed new items such as canvas totes, magnets, and “Team Buffalo Swag.” These designs are her love letters to the Queen City. She interprets what is real and original about Buffalo, NY using vivid pop art colors and funky typefaces, old city maps, vintage patterns, botanical charts, hearts, and whimsical flowers. Katharine combines the modern with the historic, Renaissance and Rustbelt – keeping some rough edges and grit – like the very city itself.
