About Santa Fe Stoneworks
The initial orientation of my business was the application of traditional lapidary techniques and processes to non-jewelry "findings". I did not want to address the regular jewelry market and focused on being a crafter of men's gifts; primarily knives. The knife is man's oldest tool, and lapidary work is man's oldest craft. We have married the two together. My grandfather was a stone cutter from upper Bohemia where the logo of the Stoneworkers guild was called a "Wirtel". I proudly carry on that tradition.
