Hi there! We are Mark and Susan Schumpert, and we followed a dream…which has become a reality. We’ve always had a creative side and often made things for friends and family, but just as a hobby! Not so anymore; in June 2013, the “day job” became no more, and 163 Design Company became our bread and butter. We are thrilled that what God planted in our hearts has come to fruition! We are originally from New Mexico, but made Maine our home in 1999. It sparks ideas and dreams and desires in our hearts and we couldn’t be happier here. We live two doors down from our daughter, son-in-law and grandboys, so everyone can take part in different aspects of the business.
