About Zenful Flames Candle Co.

Zenful Flames Candle Company is a small, home-based business located in Baltimore County, MD, founded by Tyra Wilson in November 2021. It became her brainchild during the pandemic when the world changed forever, because it further propelled Tyra’s mental traumas into full launch! She was officially diagnosed with having PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety and Bi-Polar II in 2013. Her usual way to cope was music, exercise and aromatherapy (mainly lighting candles) but as we got deeper into the pandemic, the more she succumbed to her traumas. Because aromatherapy had been a huge staple in helping to keep mental health at bay during her everyday life struggles and she hadn’t fully accepted having to take meds the rest of her life to help cope, she started to seek alternatives. Tyra then started to practice meditation and focused on healthier eating habits, working out, healing crystals and all of the positive energy they give off and/or manifest. Then it hit her: “What if I combined my love of aromatherapy and my newfound love of healing crystals?” So, after years of research, fragrance and wax testing and watching many YouTube “how to” videos, she decided to go into business for herself and share this amazing craft with the world. Every Zenful Flames candle is 100% blended and hand poured using a base of Calwax Ceda Serica vegan-friendly Coconut-Apricot crème wax, and the coloring is made from all-natural mica powder, making these candles safe for everyone to enjoy.
