Hey There! My name is Leslie, candle maker and book lover and I’ve been making candles since 2015. Our candles are inspired by the book lover. I remember reading The Wake of the Wind by my favorite author, J. California Cooper and there was a scene where Lifee and Abby were having lemonade one summer evening. I felt transported to that space in time and could literally smell the juicy, tart lemons sweetened with cane sugar based on the description. It inspired me to create a Sip of Summer lemonade candle. Now whenever I light that candle, I can picture Lifee and Abby enjoying lemonade in the evening after the sun has gone down. The more I read, the more I was inspired by scent stories. I wanted to create fragrances that captured the scent/scene of the book so the story never really has to end. Along with our bookish candles, I am continually inspired by the authors who write the books, hence my Women Writers Collection that features some of my favorite authors.
