In 1970, August Bohne founded the family business in the tranquil town of Sievershausen near Einbeck. Today, the 3rd generation is already producing all kinds of baking ingredients and selling them in the region. With the move into retail in 2020, our products are now also available for local bakeries! For our baking mixes, we use selected regional raw materials of the highest quality, which are produced gently and only have to travel short distances. By working with regional suppliers, transport routes are short and we support small companies in their activities. Transparency is very important to us. Our packaging therefore shows where the regional raw materials come from. We also attach great importance to not using any additives. Only the ingredients that traditional baked goods really need are used - true to the motto: “Bake! - No luck.” In addition to baking mixes, we also offer all common types of flour, which are also grown and produced exclusively regionally and in bakery quality. We fill all our products into paper bags and sew each individual bag by hand. As a regional producer, we were certified by the producer association “Kostbares Südniedersachsen”.
