Sleeping Bear Candle Company was born out of a love for candles and as a way to ease anxiety. I have struggled with anxiety for my entire life and candles were always a way to help ease that. Sleeping Bear started as a hobby and quickly grew into a successful business as word spread around Los Angeles. I've worked with companies like Anhueser-Busch and Game Show Network for marketing and holiday gifts. Now located in Los Angeles, I grew up in Michigan and spent many summers at the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. I have great memories there with my family so it was only natural that my candles, which bring me so much joy, reflect that same joy in our name and outlook.
