Our Symbol lotus: As the lotus rises on its stalk, unsoiled by mud and water, so do these artisans create designs from their heart, unstained by opinions of the world. These artisans live in a harsh environment yet their devotion to art is inspiring. We work with people who support women co-operatives. Our aim is to empower local villagers- women and men alike. At LILA, we believe the artisans we work with are the soul of our product. Our textiles go through several loving hands that are helping us blend old age techniques with modern looks. We believe in working with artisans from villages. We believe in researching the sources we work with. We believe in reuse, recycle, reduce and reconnect with artisans.Read their story
