Hello! Thanks for stopping by... Fritz & Fern Candle Co. was born out of the desire to curate and create beautifully-scented candles with simple designs that could be incorporated into any home decor aesthetic. Our owner Steph began making candles in the evenings as a way to feed her passion to create after a busy day of chasing toddlers. She loved concocting a scent that could transport one to a Caribbean coast, or conjure a memory from a Christmas past. Her desire to create the best candles did not stop at fragrance. She dug deep into the ingredients used in the fragrance, wax and even the containers. It was important for her to know the folks providing the components of Fritz & Fern candles. In the beginning, the candles didn't even have a name, they were simply known by their scent. Naming the company was by far one of the hardest and yet easiest decisions to make. Fritz, Steph's Grandfather. A man that operated on sheer grit and determination to provide for his family. Fern, her great-grandmother, the opposite...pure love and tenderness. The roots that inspire our company daily. Fritz and Fern Candle Co. is proud to operate out of Central Ohio, in a barn! This one-woman show has grown into a family business that is loyal to local. We think little downtowns and brick and mortar shops are the backbone of communities.
