Niki Kingsmill Fine Art (NKFA) is a Canadian owned art and illustration business owned and operated by Niki Kingsmill. Niki is a professionally trained artist with a double major in Studio Art and Art History from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. After graduating, Niki could not find a job in the art industry. She was forced to find a job in financial services, which she worked for 4 years. However, Niki was determined to get her creativity back. She began painting something everyday for a full year in addition to her regular 9-5. That year was an explosion of creativity. At the end of the year, Niki knew she had do this full time. She left her finance job in December 2016 and hasn't looked back since. Niki works from her home studio in Carlisle, ON with her trusty assistant and daughter, Mia. Niki and her husband Jordan also own and operate The Carlisle Cider Co. from the orchard in their backyard. Many of NKFA’s greeting cards have few words and are blank inside because NKFA believes in a well executed blank card - one that lets the artwork do the talking and one that people want to keep because it's simply too beautiful to get rid of. Niki hopes to inspire customers and clients with her simple handcrafted artwork.
