In a world filled with complex board games and high-tech entertainment, sometimes the simplest ideas bring the most joy. This is the story of how two brothers, Nick and Doug, turned their love for campfires and marshmallows into a delightful card game that brought their family together. During the pandemic lockdown, Nick and Doug printed the very first copy of Roast in black and white on plain paper, forcing their family to spend hours cutting out homemade cards by hand because professional printing was too expensive for an untested idea. What started purely as a fun project quickly became something special. Friends and family loved it, demanding an official version be created. Three years and one successful Kickstarter campaign later, Roast is now in over 50 stores across the PNW and growing online every day thanks to campers like you! Read their story
