My educational & work background is comprised of nearly 2 decades in US Army, first as a combat medic, then in the JAG Corp, a decade in educational, local & national politics, then law school, followed by more Army. Hooah! That introduction I’m sure raises more questions about the skincare line than it answers, but I simply arrived at a point in my life where I wanted natural, quality, food & natural, effective personal products for myself & my family, that desire started what would become a 20-year search for just that. I tried a wide range of skin & haircare products claiming to be just what I sought, which they may very well have been, except for one thing - they were not effective. After years of varied products at various price points, there was no improvement to my skin or hair, I suffer the same issues - Skin: breakouts which resulted red then dark spots. Hair: breakage, limited growth & dull appearance. Fed-up with lack-luster results, I started to think about the creation of my own products, what that might look like, & things started to fall into place. In the beginning I worked with essential oils, I tested on myself & everyone else who agreed to use & report back their pros & cons. As my knowledge expanded, I began to work with Frankincense & Myrrh resin, now, we process our own raw resins into oils for use in our products. While I find essential oils beneficial, they play a supportive role in our products to the gently extracted, pure resin oils.
