Our paths crossed in 2013. For both of us, this was the first day at university. We happened to be seated next to each other in the lecture hall. From that day on, we have become inseparable and best friends. We realized early on that we wanted to create something of our own together. The idea of entering the baby furniture industry came with the births of our children. As if it wasn't fate enough for us to get pregnant at the same time, our babies were born on the same day. Ayla and Ilyas saw the light of day briskly on 4.02.2020. For this reason, the company name is a merger of both names: Ilyas+Ayla = Ilayla. We chose cots because we were looking for not only usable beds ourselves, but also high-quality and stylish baby cots. Unfortunately, we didn't find anything close to what we wanted. So it was obvious that we wanted to set up our own business with it. Said and done! It was important to us that our products had to be made from sustainable materials, especially free of plastic. We quickly found rattan as a perfect solution and a better alternative to wood. Because rattan is a rapidly renewable resource. Because only the best is good enough for our young talent.
