Village mum was founded by Jessica Sivertsen and Becky Caswell. Two sisters from a small town in Michigan. We both had been work from home mommas and loved the ability to be home with our kids, while still bringing in an income. Jessica had a dream to start a business that would allow other mommas to have the same opportunity to be home with their kids. It was then, Village mum was founded. We believe this business was a vision given by God. A ministry placed on our hearts from him. The name Village Mum was chosen for a few reasons. We know that being a mom is a tough job, it takes a village. While mum was chosen because that is what they call moms in New Zealand, one of the worlds leading clay suppliers. Another ministry very important to us at Village mum is adoption. We have committed to donating a portion of all proceeds to families in the process of adopting.
