Originally established in 1986 by Jody's parents, and known as the Emporium Cookshop, Muldale had a reputation locally for its treasure trove of everyday and unique kitchenware; moving in 2008 to an online service. Having lived in Finland for 15 years (Miia being originally from Finland), we returned in 2013 to help the business evolve further. Having seen and used some amazing home and garden products in Europe, we wanted to develop the business to offer our customers a more diverse selection of products, as well as retaining the very best in kitchenwares. Now serving our growing online community and having expanded into the home and garden sectors, it is still very much a family-run business, with the same ethos of listening to the preferences of our customers, sourcing excellent quality products and providing dependable and friendly service. We source internationally with the emphasis on quality and great design; seeking out those really unusual items that are hard to find on the high street to sit alongside our more traditional everyday must-haves. We are transparent with our customers on pricing. Our excellent relationships with our suppliers and designers mean we can consistently maintain honest and fair prices for you.
