In 2015, two weeks before my wedding, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. At 28, I definitely wasn't expecting to hear the C word. Fortunately, I had a very treatable form of thyroid cancer and one surgery and some treatments later, and I was back in ship shape. But it really pushed me to evaluate my life and I felt life was too short not to pursue my passion. I had always dreamed of running my own business. And I had been sketching a series of animals in my spare time. It took me about 2 years to complete the first collection of animals and in 2017, I got the courage to take the plunge and open up my Etsy shop with the Alphabet Animal Flash Cards as my first product. Ever since, I've been adding all kinds of illustrations to the collections and sharing them with the world through various products. Now that I have a daughter of my own, I'm thrilled to be sharing with her the educational games, party decor, clothing and more that I create for GoodnightFox.
