Mache Tubes are hand-produced in harmony with the planet using earth-friendly ingredients such as post-industrial recycled wood pulp, FSC-certified paper and wood, as well as non-toxic, zero-VOC and NAUF adhesives. You could say that Brown is the New Green at Mache. The word “mâché” (ma-shay), meaning “chewed up” in french, pays homage to the recycling process and resulting post-consumer or “green” aesthetic. Sustainable packaging is an important part of the Mache mission to Make More with Less. All Mache products are packaged using the waste materials or scraps from the manufacturing process. These material scraps help to protect Mache Tubes in transit to their new home, thereby eliminating the need for additional packaging waste. With Mache, yogis, workout junkies and meditators alike can breathe easy knowing that the storage that supports their practice is made using the world’s most sustainable materials and processes. Currently, all Mache products are designed and handmade in the USA, using materials that are built to last until you are ready to recycle or biodegrade them.
