About Polished Concrete Shop

After earning a Graduate Degree in Construction Management, the founder added her expertise in Visual Communications, extensive background in Retail Management and love for art and architecture, to create a brand that is both visually appealing and representative of her personal aesthetic. The collection utilizes carefully selected eco-friendly and sustainable materials such as raw brass, stainless steel, wood, rubber and glass. My intent when founding the brand was to conform parallelism between art, science and everyday life. This philosophy of incorporating life rang true because while working and being in school, Brittney's grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. Polished Concrete was launched on February 27, 2019 - her grandmother's birthday, as a way to help offset the growing costs for home-care. The idea of selling handmade modern jewelry to help raise funding and bring awareness to the disease led to the creation of POLISHED CONCRETE FOUNDATION, which the designer will use as a branded platform to help create better living environments for Alzheimer's patients and their caregivers.
