In 2015, Co-Founder Evan Lampsa underwent open-heart surgery to fix a congenital heart defect known as an atrial septal defect. This inspired Evan to begin thinking about creating healthier foods for heart patients, and he found that there were very few healthy, good-tasting ketchups on the market. In 2019, as a sophomore in high school, Evan founded Ketchup Please. Over the course of his junior year of high school, Evan developed the recipe, became licensed to sell by the state, and attained USDA Organic certification. Since then Evan has continued to iterate the product and branding, partaking in farmers markets, fairs, and festivals, and gaining a strong retailer presence. Ketchup Please is ketchup without compromise. KP is USDA Organic, contains no added sugars, has less sodium than mainstream ketchup, and most importantly tastes great. Pass the Ketchup Please!
