Description
Meet the German ale that drinks like a lager. Our Kolsch Beer Recipe Kit produces a refreshing hybrid style that’s fermented with ale yeast, but conditioned like a lager. Our Kolsch kit features Saaz and Perle, noble hops with floral, slightly spicy character. Each sip has clean malt character with hints of biscuit and bread. Neutral ale yeast ferments clean, letting the hops and grains shine. This Kolsch beer recipe kit is ideal for brewers who already have their own equipment. Kolsch beer recipe kits are available in 5 gallon kits for large batch brewers. For a crystal clear Kolsch, we recommend using a Whirlfloc Tablet on brew day &/or using Gelatin Finings post-fermentation. White Labs Clarity Ferm can also reduce haze. It's also recommended to ferment at a cooler temperature between 65-71ºF. The instructions included in this Kolsch Beer Making Kit provide tips for "cold crashing," and using fining agents to achieve the most crisp, clean brew possible.
