Description
Hang a beautiful glass bird sun catcher in your windows and watch the sunlight shimmer through. Made from fused glass, every piece is painted by hand, making the design work as unique as the birds they mimic. The long beaded thread lets your little bird freely "fly" in the breeze. This cooperative started as a collaboration in 1996, with Chilean traditions and nature as inspiration. Using window glass and recycled bottles, the glass is cut to size, painted by hand, then fired in 1500 degree ovens. Recycled glass Made by hand in Chile Measures approximately 1-1/2" tall x 3-1/4" wide hanging on an 8 to 9" beaded poly thread. Made by hand is uniquely beautiful. Our products are made by humans, not mass produced on automated machines. Minor imperfections and variations are to be expected as a characteristic of the artistry. Please appreciate these individualities for what they are, a maker pouring their heart and soul into a unique and beautiful piece of work.

She gave me some wonderful advice and cards I could include in the display area explaining the benefits tof fair trade o needy communities and individuals. It was much appreciated!
