Hi There, I'm Kylie! Melbourne Artist + Illustrator,Mama, Colour Lover, Dreamer, Overuser Of Exclamation Marks and True Crime Junkie!! I’ve always been creative, it’s in my blood, it’s in my soul but for years I pushed that part of me deep down because I thought that I had more important things to do like raise tiny humans to become good people. During the lockdown periods in Victoria I started doing a lot of soul searching and a lot of inner work because I had been feeling really lost, like something was missing. When something is such a big part of who you are and you hide that away, when you say no to your soul, it actually does more harm then good. For weeks I asked the universe to help me figure out what the hell was going on and for weeks the universe sent me signs that I didn’t see. Until one night I was laying in bed, I couldn’t get sleep, it was 1am and I was wide awake scrolling through my phone when it finally came to me, a little whisper in the darkness from my soul that said start creating again that’s what you need to do, that’s the missing piece. And just like that all those signs that I didn’t see before flooded into my mind and I knew right in that moment that saying yes to my soul was what I had to do. So I did. Once I started creating I felt whole again and I just knew I need to share my creations with the world and so Soul Queen Art Co was born!Read their story
