Tendresse wool is a delicate blend of alpaca and silk. This yarn is fluffy and soft, thanks to the baby alpaca. It is also warm and comfortable, thanks to its wool. It has a matte appearance with a heathered texture, thanks to the silk noil. Silk noil consists of silk "waste," giving it a rustic touch. During dyeing, the silk absorbs less color than the baby alpaca, resulting in heathered colors.
