Description
Urfa Biber tells the story of a mild red pepper that’s dried by the sun, wrapped tight to sweat, and transformed by the moon. Dark purple hues dried of the earth to a raisin like perfection adding a complex approachable smoke and heat. Urfa Biber is one of the most complex peppers in the world. 'I love that it's a bit spicy, sweet, smokey, and adds acidity to foods, says Renee Erickson in Conde Naste Traveller. 'I love putting it on scrambled eggs, or whipped ricotta with pita. Last week we put some on a smoked oyster tartine and mixed with mayo with pickled celery.'
