The Earthly Compostable Garbage bags are the best alternative to traditional, micro plastic garbage bags. They are BPI and EN 13432 certified, and can be disposed of through your municipal solid waste program. In the right conditions, the bags can biodegrade in 9 to 14 days. In other conditions (based on moisture level, temperature and the contents of the bag), the bags will break down significantly faster than traditional plastic bags and are better for the environment. The earthly garbage bags are made from materials derived from plants, vegetable oils and compostable polymers, and are available in 3 sizes; 6L, 10L and 60L. The 6L bag is a perfect fit for the standard countertop compost bin, while the 10L is best used for small waste pails, like ones found in your bathrooms or office. Our 60L bag would be used for your kitchen garbage, or even a liner for your large composter. The 60L bag is thicker than our smaller options, and the bottom is cross joined. Finished in Canada.
