Basic is for the (other) birds. The Cocky Brand got it's start when it's maker/brand owner, Cristina Velardi, hatched the idea to screen print her version of a "Key West Squirrel" on t-shirts, and sell them to locals at the Key West Artisan Market. The brand began it's Grass Roots business with handmade screens, water-based inks, and a passion for creating. Much like the Island's roosters and chickens, the brand quickly took over, and became a recognizable and frequently spotted brand around Key West. Locals and tourists, alike have become taken by the brand, and it's unique, bold, and witty style. It is not uncommon to find people from all over the country sporting one of our dope hats, or some of our original screen printed tees. *Apparel for the WEIRD & PROUD*
