Chloé Weinfeld est une illustratrice française récemment établie à Lyon, après avoir transité von Melbourne, Berlin und Paris. Elle peint à la gouache des scènes surréalistes à la végétation luxuriante et aux tonalités éclatantes. Influencée par son enfance passée à la Réunion et ses nombreux voyages, ses compositions complexet joyeuses marient architectures rêvées et nature indomptée, au gré d'explorations imaginaires. Son univers reste profondément marqué par les riches paysages de l'île de son enfance, terre de contrastes où la lumière intense sculpte les volumes, ravive les couleurs, et inonde les reliefs. Captivée par l'idée d'une nature qui reprend ses droits à travers les récits et images de cités disparues puis retrouvées, ses peintures sont une invitation à l'évasion et à la rêverie.
