The story behind iAnanas: Authentic craftsmanship meets fair values Do you know who made your clothes? Or the story behind your dining table? In today's world, most of us don't. We live in an age of mass production, where the things we use daily are often made in distant factories by people we will never meet and with processes we will never understand. At iAnanas, we believe it's time to change that. iAnanas was founded by Naresh Purohit, who has been living in Germany since 2011. But his heart has always remained connected to the artisans of his hometown, Jodhpur, India – a city known for its rich tradition of handcrafted wooden items. Growing up surrounded by the art of woodworking, Naresh saw firsthand the beauty and skill that went into each piece. But he also saw something concerning: these master craftsmen, the true artists behind the products, were often underpaid and overworked, lacking access to basic benefits like healthcare or education for their children. This gap – between the value of craftsmanship and the reality of the artisans' lives – inspired Naresh to found iAnanas.
