The colours, derived from chemical-free Ayurvedic dyes, are soft and natural. Perfect for practising yoga, this mat is also an elegant decorative object for the home or studio, adding a touch of authenticity and tranquillity. Its ‘Life’ colouring, a cheerful pink symbolising vitality and a passion for life, is obtained using a dye made from Madder roots. They produce a deep natural red dye called manjistha, which is used to dye fabrics and fibres from deep red to orange-red.
