Assam teas from the Harmutty, Satrupa, Balimara and Jamguri gardens have been used for our aromatic East Frisian tea. The strong tea is traditionally drunk with kluntjes (candy sugar) and cream. Preparation: Bring a liter of water to a boil. Place eight to 10 grams of tea in a pot, scald with half of the water, let the infusion steep for five minutes, then add the remaining hot liquid. Always store in a cool, dry, airtight and light-proof place.
